Workshop Detail

Intentional Camera Movement & Multiple Exposures

This workshop is designed to give you the technical knowledge and practical experience to be able to see and take inspirational art photographs using intentional camera movement (ICM) & multiple exposures (ME).

Becoming proficient in ICM is not difficult, but takes some practice & requires some clear guidance to overcome the simple ‘wave your camera around’ which ultimately doesn’t produce the results.

If you want to make unique, spontaneous work, and then develop into someone who can create cleverly crafted ICM artwork then this workshop is for you.

With practice you will go from wonderful surprises into planned inspirational works of art.

The images you make will become ones of personal expression, an interpretation rather than a duplication of your scene, images that will inspire long after their initial impact.

Let’s go painting with our cameras.

Logistics / Gear:

We will meet in a local cafe for an introductory session, visiting Corfe Castle & Swanage town during the day. (Full details will be shared after booking)

You will need an ND filter for your camera lens, ideally between around 5 stops. No tripod needed.
